No matter where it is fulfilled in the house, it is seen that ants come and try to allot sugar or molasses.

To get rid of this, many people tuck it in a polythene packet and put it in a container with a tight veil.

Someone puts it in the refrigerator with a pot to protect the sugar from ants. But saving in this way is quite tenacious.

Let's take a look at some of the simple ways we can easily store sweet ingredients-

Lemon peel

Just as the scent of sugar or food enthrall ants, there are some odors that ants cannot tolerate at all. For illustration, lemon peel. Put a slice of lemon peel in a sugar bowl. Replace it every 2-3 days. The ants will not even come near the edge of the sugar pot.

Bay leaves

Put a bay leaf in a sugar bowl. Replace it every 4-5 days. The ants will not even come near the edge of the sugar pot with the smell of bay leaves.

Cinnamon

The smell of cinnamon ants cannot tolerate at all. So put a pair of medium-sized cinnamon pieces in a sugar bowl. The smell of cinnamon will not even come near the edge of the sugar pot.

Clove

Put 1 or 2 cloves in a sugar bowl. Replace it every 4-5 days. The ants will not even come near the edge of the sugar pot with the scent of clove.
