The 206-storey Burj Khalifa, which looks like a rocket, has a total height of 2,717 feet. The 600,000-square-foot building can accommodate more than 12,000 people at a time. There are 54 elevators in the Burj building. Their speed is 40 miles per hour.

The total cost to build the entire building is 1.5 billion US dollars. There is a beautiful fountain in the outer courtyard of the Burj Khalifa. About 12,000 workers are working to build the Burj Khalifa.

Outside the building there is a huge park. The building is surrounded by a beautiful 7.4-acre garden and a 30-acre artificial lake. The residents of Burj Khalifa need 9,46,000 liters of water per day which is 100 km. Quantities are supplied through internal pipelines. 34 km for air conditioning.
