There are places in the world where clouds do not rain. No desert, it's a village. In this village in West-Central Asia, Yemen, the villagers have been living without rain for decades.


The village is located in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen. The name of the village is Al-Hutaib. The village is at the top of a red sandstone hill at an altitude of 3200 m above the ground. The population is not very large.


 


The village is known as an interesting tourist destination. It is very hot during the day. At night the freezing cold comes down to the village. But as soon as the sun rises, the weather becomes hot.
